Clean Sky 2(https://www.cleansky.eu/) is the largest European research programme ever funded by European Union (1.6 bln€ EU funds). Clean Sky 2 was launched in 2008 to develop innovative, cutting-edge technology aimed at reducing CO2, NOx emissions and noise levels produced by aircraft. Clean Sky 2 contributes to maintaining global leadership in European aeronautics, thanks to the participation of a large number of Enterprises, Research Centres and Universities.

ALTAIR (http://altair-h2020.eu/) is the European project aimed at demonstrating the economic and technical feasibility of a semi-reusable launch system for small satellites. The ALTAIR launch system consists in an innovative air-launch system, whereby the carrier is a reusable automated aircraft, jettisoning at high altitude an expendable launcher.

RINGO (http://www.ringo-project.eu/) is a Coordination and Support Action (CSA) providing a cohesive and coordinated approach for the identification and assessment of the aviation research infrastructures needed in Europe.

MUSIC-haic (https://www.music-haic.eu/) project is a research and innovation action funded by the EU through the H2020 programme which aims to build on past research projects and existing multi-disciplinary tools to provide the aeronautic industry with an Ice Crystal Icing (ICI) numerical capability usable for both design and certification purposes.
